Vishnu Amble is an Investment Professional with Global Cleantech Capital (GCC), based in Europe. Prior to GCC, he focused on India private equity investments for Dubai-based Abraaj Capital, the Middle East’s largest private equity firm with over $6.5 billion in assets under management. His responsibilities included the execution and management of four private equity investments in India, with a focus on the power, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Prior to Abraaj, Vishnu was with The Carlyle Group, a global alternative asset manager with more than $140 billion under management, focusing on private equity investments, including buyout and growth equity, in companies in the software, software-enabled services, power and clean technology, and semiconductors and related supply chain businesses across the globe. Vishnu started his career with Lehman Brothers in the Global Power and Energy Investment Banking Group based in New York and London, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and strategic advisory mandates for electric utilities, thermal and renewable power producers, and cleantech and power technology companies. He received his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Hans Roeland Poolman (PhD, MSM-F)

Hans, currently a partner at 1&12 Ventures, filled the position of VP Finance at All Options between 2007 and 2009. At this Amsterdam based market maker in equity options he managed the global finance team. Between 2001 and 2007 he worked at Lucent Technologies/Alcatel-Lucent, where he held different positions as both project manager and finance manager. In 2004 he was, as the only European, submitted to Lucent’s Financial Leadership Development Program at Babson College, MA USA, where he obtained his masters degree (Cum Laude ‘07) in Business Management (focus in Finance). Prior to this he held a Postdoc position at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. In 1999 he received his PhD degree at the same university in the field of subatomic physics.
Drs Bernd W. Mintjes

Bernd studied business and industrial psychology at the University of Groningen and the USA. After a career as a business consultant and manager of a national consulting firm he started his own consultancy. He recommended including the Ministry of Economic Affairs on new projects to entrepreneurship.
Through private investment, Adfundum Participations, he invests in innovative companies. He is affiliated with the University of Groningen, where he teaches in Innovation & Strategy. Besides a number of directorships, he is an expert associated with higherlevel.nl. In 2005 he was co-founder of the Maxwell Group.
Floris van Alkemade

Floris, a partner at Solid Ventures, has been actively involved with startups since 1998. From 1998 to 2008 he was a general partner at NeSBIC CTe Fund, EUR 210M value added venture capital funds having invested in 38 early stage technology companies in Europe and US. In 2000 he managed the NeSBIC CTe Fund office in Silicon Valley, US. At the end of 2005 he founded, together with Robert Wilhelm and Herman deLatte, Solid Ventures to invest in Dutch based technology companies. In addition Floris has helped numerous startups as business angel and coach. Before starting in venture capital Floris worked at Unisource NV, a pan-European telecommunications company, the investment bank MeesPierson NV and the consulting firm Andersson Elffers Felix BV. He has a Masters Degree in Business Econometrics from the Free University of Amsterdam. Floris is an active member of the board of several companies, amongst which Layar and BoosterMedia and he is a director of TSOC.
